What? Anemones aren't jellyfish!

This is one of the few flavor texts I've actually laughed at. Still a bad pun.

He's a swimming anemone. He's so awesome that he makes mountains blink from existence.

This creates a soft lock with Venser, the Sojourner.

@Leshrac_Nightwalker: It was an Anemone for a short time after the Grand Creature Type Update, but Wizard dropped that type again in a second update, gave it back the Beast type, and added the type Jellyfish for some reason.

I guess their reasoning was that if it's an anemone beast it can also be a jellyfish somehow, right? :D

For creating a soft lock i'd rather play Mistbind Clique, but this one still works with bounce like Trusted Advisor or Vedalken Mastermind, and cards that let you play it in your opponent's upkeep like AEther Vial, Leyline of Anticipation, Vernal Equinox, Vedalken Orrery or Winding Canyons or if you want.

This is one of my favorite Astral Slide bampf'ers in Commander.

Pair your "oh look my Glowing Anemone comes into play fifty-nine times this turn" combo of choice with flashing in Jin-Gitaxias to make everybody as mad as they can possibly be.

Deadeye Navigator has so many combos.

This might be my favorite.

@Mode and Leshrac Nightwaker: Well, I guess Jellyfish is the shorthand WotC settled upon for Cnidarian (which isn't exactly a well-known term).

Not that I have any idea what kind of abilities a Cnidarian Tribal deck would have...

Still, it's too bad this wasn't reprinted in Zendikar or Worldwake. Late-game, you can use it on yourself to redo a landfall effect.
