That's not how that works. If you cast it at the end of another player's turn, there is still the cleanup phase that ends "end of turn" effects so you artifact would turn back into a non-creature on your turn. You could just use it on your turn though.
It is worthwhile to note that this is also {U} artifact land destruction, since once animated the artifact land will be a creature with toughness 0 and will be put into the graveyard as a state-based effect.

I cast it on my Akroma's Memorial at the end of your turn. It's a guy on my turn :)
