Wow, I sure was going to miss Terramorphic Expanse when it rotated out.

For those of us smart enough to not pay hundreds of dollars to own fetches and duals, these babies are a godsend.

Why wasn't this slot given to Terramorphic Expanse?
Because EDH decks get 2 of them now.
That's why.

When I told Wizards I was sick of looking at the art on Terramorphic Expanse, the last thing I'd expect for them to do was listen to me...o.O

Wouldn't a Reprinted Terramorphic Expanse with new art and flavour text about the roil have worked fine?

Better get some Amulets of Vigor for that affordable multi color deck with 8 terramorphic expanses!

Somehow I am very glad to see this card. Budget decks will be happy to have 8 of these. Printing viable mana fixing at the common level brings magic one step forward to being respectable as a competitive game accessible to all players valuing skill over finance. Creating Mythic Rare ensures it will never quite make it.

"Ugh it cut of the first word of my post. {amulet of vigor} IS a great card..."

This card was printed with specific intentions. Don't forget, this is directly from Wizards of the Coast: "Rise of the Eldrazi is part of Zendikar block, which means that it will be part of Zendikar Block Constructed. But it's a large set, which means that it will be drafted on its own; drafts will be either Zendikar-Zendikar-Worldwake or Rise of the Eldrazi-Rise of the Eldrazi-Rise of the Eldrazi."

Perfect for Zendikar Block Constructed on a Budget. Thanks Wizards, you made my day.

Oh, hello again, Terramorphic Expanse. I barely had time to miss you.

New Terramorphic Expanse, but why ? what is the point ?

Update: to be clear here, I know why.
Because fetch lands costs fortune (and some people do not understand the irony).

beyond block construction, long term thinking, this indicates clearly that Terramorphic Expanse will not be in M11. Don't quite understand why it has an unique card name, but 8-per for a while should be interesting :)

sometimes Wizard creates functional reprints to force players to buy new playsets, sometimes they do it to correct flavour or relates issues Divination, and sometimes they do it because they've decided to be really really nice to us. This is one of those times. x8 Terramorphic Expanse will really help my casual deck for 60 cents.

Nice to get an extra bunch of good fetch lands but it still disappoints me how they alltogether abandoned all the awesome landy ness that Zendikar offered. r.i.p. Landfall

Landfall madness.

8 of these fetch lands is enough to support your deck in multiple colors or landfall capability.

uh, awesome Landfall capabilties for budget players in Block? (not like anyone plays block constructed on a budget, but still)

now you can have 5-8 Terramorphics in a deck.

EDH gets 2 copies of Terramorphic

Functional reprints are never usually wasted card slots. Er, except Lagac Lizard.

The only real reason they made a functional reprint of Expanse is Realms Uncharted. Which sucks. A wasted card slot overall.

8 fetches which look for any kind of land. Simply great in Pauper. EDH players are happy too. Thank you Wizards.

I went online just to review this card. Amazing with terramorphic playsets. I just put them in a Valakut deck with Plated Geopede and Oracle of Mul Daya. It rapes so hard when Valakut damage becomes instant speed or when you get to shuffle your deck just to get a land on top to play with Mul Daya. Landfall, eat your heart out! Rise has not completely forgetten ye apparantly.

Somehow it wasn't until reading these comments that I realized this card means now I play with more than 4 expanses. Awesome (I'm cheap).

When Rise rotates out of standard, will they reprint this? Also, ehat are the odds that
Terramorphic Expance is going to be reprinted in M11?

Just when I thought I saw enough terramorphic expanses to last me a lifetime, they came out with this.

Then I realized that Zendikar had a lot of landfall effects, such as the almighty Ob. Now I have a number of these in my pure-black demon deck just for him.

I don't get it when they do functional reprints like this, especially when the original has a very generic name. It's good that we can have 8 of them in a deck, but it is kinda weird.

Oh, I get it. So it's like a forest, but also a swamp, and...?

Great for budget and/or singleton decks, and a very useful card overall. 5/5

The first time I saw this card I accidentally misread it as "Evolving Winds". Now every time I try to autocard it, I always post Evolving Winds and have to edit my post to correct myself..

I was making a tricolor EDH deck, and I was worried I wouldn't have enough ways to get a color I was missing with only being able to have one Terramorphic Expanse. And then I found one of these.

I love you, Wizards.

The only reason we get double the terramorphic madness is because of cool landfall cards like Adventuring Gear and Ob Nixilis, the Fallen.

People nowadays might take common/uncommon mana fixers for granted, but I remember back in the day you needed rare lands to make a multi-colored deck.

5/5 for allowing casual players to make non-mono-colored decks :)

Confirmed for reprint in Dark Ascension.
