I want to like this one. Black creature distruction has always been a favorite of mine but i just have so much trouble paying 7 for this. 6, sure. It's a 2/2 flier and a dark banishing but 7? I'm on the fence.

Is this better or worse than Bone Shredder? I'd have to lean towards the shredder, since I think the removal is more important than the creature. But blanket destruction would be worth the cost if there was a no regeneration clause. Those two complement each other nicely.

I really want to like this guy... but 7CC for his kick?! It is sooo expensive. Good late game, I guess, but for 7CC it seems like you could be playing something a lot more devastating.

This is a limited card. 4 mana 2/2 fliers are always fine. The late-game bonus is just gravy.

I think this guy is best put into an EDH deck, where excessive mana can be expected. Much the same as Bloodrite Invoker. Useful (somewhat) in the early game as it can be a 2/2 flier, and useful in the late game with it's ETB ability.
I think if I were to put it in a modern or casual deck, I'd put in some cards that could lower it's casting cost. Cards like Cloud Key, Semblance Anvil, and maybe even ability cost reducers like Training Grounds (optional). I'd put some other beefies in too like Ulamog's Crusher and Maul Splicer.
Btw, just putting this out there, but flickering this creature won't work. Due to the wording on the card, the creature needs to be cast before you can pay the kicker cost. Flickering only exiles and replaces the creature on the field.
