The closest you can get to Overrun in Pauper. No added trample, but mas$ power pump it is, in a format where board sweepers are much more rare.
BTW, it's one step far from being a planeshift of Army of Allah (step being the mana). Or Fortify (the added choise of +0/+2). Also, very close to the Path of Anger's Flame.
And, being a pity to point, the great-by-itself flavour text contradicts the rest of the card. Pieces are good, but the whole doesn't click, sadly.

A really nice card to run in standard goblin decks. It's fun to see you opponents expression when they think your next attack will still leave them with a little health to go on, and then you throw this down.

I think this is the 2nd quickest way to win in Standard next to 4 triggered archive traps on opponent's 1st turn. Any thoughts?

Path of Anger's Flame is strictly better than this. Same effect, same cost. Except PoAF can be used as a combat trick on the defensive as well. Plus you can Splice things onto it.

Trumpet blast is better than path of anger's flame in multiplayer.
I wish this card was a core set staple. it's nice and clean and feels very red.
Also, if you play Shadow Era the online TCG (that's kind of similar to Magic)... The card Bloodlust pretty much copies this card, and Bloodlust is a key component in many aggro decks there.

Generally worse than dynacharge. Still not strictly though as trumpet blast has multiplayer potential that dynacharge (and path of angers flame) lacks, which can be a plenty big deal.
Which is good, it's good when cards have their own niches instead of being strictly better or worse, unless something is blatantly over/underpowered.

Turn 3 Trumpet Blast, Attack for 12 (Total damage 20)
