I think the reason why Green, which has otherwise efficient creatures, keeps getting bad forestwalkers is that the green-on-green mirror match is so evasion- and removal-poor. Forestwalkers become game-winners in the resulting standoff, in a way that a mountainwalker never could.

Apparently forestwalk means you can't be a Hill Giant. =(

In my comment for the Surrakar Banisher, I said that i wouldn't mind a 3/3 creature on the field. However, I feel like this would be an exception. Green normally has creatures with P/T fairly similar to/close to its CMC, but sometimes there are creatures that are either smaller or larger, such as Hollowhenge Beast, Enormous Baloth, Centaur Courser, etc. Green also has its evasive creatures, which normally isn't that small compared to its CMC either, such as Somberwald Dryad, Orchard Spirit, Glissa's Courier, etc. This, however, is fairly small and conditional compared to others of its CMC, which is rather disappointing. 2/5

Looks like they forgot that green was the creature color.

There's worse out there, but there's also better.
