What happens when you take Counsel of the Soratami, Wind Drake, and a fishy elemental from Lorwyn, and throw them all into a blender? Well you get a really big mess of fish and dragon guts, oh wait, I mean what happens when you blend them together in an abstract sense? You get this: a card drawing, flying wonder that is useful almost all of the time.

Who doesn't love mulldrifter? No one, that's who. I'm undecided on whether or not it might be slightly overpowered but at the moment I'll just consider it to be very very good indeed.

Well it will no longer be standard in 2nd Oct which isn't far off now. Unless its getting repinted Volcre, you will need divination unless they bring another version of that card out.

It makes me happy that the draw 2 for effect was put onto a creature, which makes it interact with far more cards than the sorcery version.
This card is quite crazy. Two card and creature. IN one card... I think I hate this card.

If you're too poor for a Mimic Vat, try giving it Unearth via Sedris, the Traitor King. Also the Cauldron of Souls + Heartmender combo is just plain awesome. Cast Pyroclasm, all of your 2 toughness evokers have persist and do their thing again.
And this thing is just AMAZING with mr. Venser.

Pretty much better than divination because you can give it a body...the only time it would be worse is when somebody has out someone that does bad stuff when a creature dies
