Yay. A creature-copying effect that can copy Legends without triggering the Legendary rule, and it isn't limited by being stuck on a Legendary creature.

My new goal is to have seven Akromas out at the same time.

So let's say my opponent has an Akroma on the board, and I have two Llanowar Elves. If I turn both elves into copies of Akroma, do my two copies die to the legend rule, since they both have the same name and are legendary?

A3kitsune@ Excellent point! The Legend Rule states that two legendary permanents can't share a name. I'm pretty sure that even if you copy Akroma with just one of the Llanowar Elves, it will die as a state based action (but not the other, since it isn't Legendary).

The first thing that comes to mind when I see this is that you can essentially Rebuke at the cost of a creature. With the exception of some weird corner cases, any creature can block itself lethally, or gum up the works completely. I'd run it with creatures that have flash and full compliments of Hunted Wumpuses (Wumpi?) and Boldwyr Heavyweights. If they have something legitimately better than those, it can be yours too for the low, low price of {2}!

So, how is this not a five star? Two mana for an instant speed copy creature effect that can't be countered, count me in.

This and Leyline of anticipation and your opponents will be on their toes all game, an attacking memnite suddenly becomes the most terrifying creature on the planet
