One of many white finishers that are all around the same CMC and do almost the same thing, I would sstill prefer Exalted Angel as the finisher in my casual deck because i can still attack with my other dudes, heck i like Serra Angel better because I can still alpha strike and have the Serra back as defense, but if you are on a budget and already have one of these, its not a BAD card.

Excellent limited and casual card. If you control more than one, the lifelink stacks. Plus you can put it into the Arena post combat for more hilarity.

it works best if you have another out, then it attacks for six and you gain twelve, combo with
Rafiq of the Many and they take 14 and you gain 28...

No it's not a BAD card......But it's BADAZZ when thrown together with others.............. Cradle of Vitality and Boon Reflection and to add insult to injury Wall of Reverence Just to name a few.

This one works great in my exalted deck, you always attack alone with one creature which gets many boosts.
I also have got some other cards: Angelic Benediction, Protective Bubble and Court Archers, and stuff like that, so you cant stop it and you gain very much lives, and you deal much damage of course.

Baneslayer Angel pretty much put this card in the dumpster.

But this card is budget.

This card is better than Baneslayer Angel in quite a few situations. Mostly because it can do something during the turn you play it. It took a hit with the new rules, though. You'd often get double lifelink with this, now you can't.

Great in decks focused around the Exalted mechanic, but in most other decks, a Serra Angel or a Baneslayer Angel would be better.

a nice card, definatly lost some power with the new rules, but this is awesome in exalted, behemoth sledge is slightly better, as it gives +2/+2 and trample with the lifelink

Umm, this is exactly the same as Baneslayer without First Strike.

one finisher in an exalted deck. the other is Rafiq of the Many. WW3 mana cost for a 4/4 flyer that gives lifelink to herself and other creatures, and has saved me so many games. People can say negative things about Battlegrace Angel but i personally think that Baneslayer is not all that great for the money that some are asking for it.

@ jhimbob, Baneslayer has protection from demons and dragons. Battlegrace is 4/4 unless attacking alone (and even then it is only a 5/5 until end of turn). Baneslayer is 5/5 whether attacking alone or with other creatures. Battlegrace also powers up any of your creatures that attacks alone. Baneslayer is more selfish.

I am always just as happy to draw this card as I am to draw my baneslayer or one of my 2 Akromas. Because when I do get one of my Akroma, Angel of Wraths out Battlegrace turns her into a 7/7 flying, first strike, vigilance, trample, haste, protection from black and red, lifelink.

this guy has killed me so many times-essentialy a 5/5 that's hard to block and gives you life at the same time. Fun if he's not on the other side of the table

XD Battle Grace and Serra are choice for my white decks XD

@Rainyday2012 (7/27/2009 5:18:49 PM)

Meh, just slap a Asha's Favor on Battlegrace and she's nearly as good as BaneslayerWHEN attacking alone...

But I wont/wouldn't let Baneslayer run Battlegrace into retirement, personally!

Well, if you're playing WHITE, this nor Baneslayer or any creature without Shroud or pro. white by itself isn't an issue with the insane amount of removal in white! But yeah, you're right it's annoying on the other end of the table but real fun to use XD

One of the most god-awful creatures out of shards of alara.

No lifelink never stacks with lifelink. If it uses the keyword, there may only be one, if it doesnt then it stacks (see spirit link)

Some people out there would have you believe that Baneslayer is the only angel in existence. Not true. This chick is awesome. Too bad she is always in that other angel's shadow.

I have a white deck I'm currently building where this card can fill the slot Baneslayer Angel would go basically as well as Baneslayer, and it is currently 200$ cheaper for a playset. This card is going in my deck.

I first started playing magic when Shards came out. Among my friends, this was my signature card.
Heheheh, everyone hated it. We were noobs and they didn't run removal. Oh, Bant is so powerful if you're not a veteran player. Good times Butterface, good times.

I've had the opportunity to play this card in a few different decks now, and she is absolutely one of the best White creatures in Standard right now. The fact that she imparts lifelink and exalted to any creature attacking is incredible.

If you are in a situation where other creatures can be sacrificed, she can keep you alive for a long time with this ability. She herself is also a 5/5 flyer for 5 with lifelink, which is a hell of a deal in its own right.

5/5

Anyone think that this Angel looks like the angel in Slave of Bolas

Exalted creates bad tension.
1) I want to attack with two creatures, but it is only marginally more effective than attacking with one
2) I want to save mana for combat tricks, but she is begging to be played pre-combat
3) If you kill my only attacking creature, you have nullified my entire attack.
4) You cast wrath, and all but one of my creatures just sat around waiting for it to happen.

Fortunately, some of the exalted creatures are solid without or inspite of the ability, like this, Sovereigns of Lost Alara, and Noble Hierarch.

I used to have Battlegrace in my casual B/W reanimation deck. Mind you not the best creature for that deck, but she can hold her own and/or support other creatures.

Currently I have her in my Sigarda, Host of Herons EDH Tron deck. At first I liked her, but thinking about replacing her. Not 100% sure.

ALTHOUGH I was playing a EDH game with the deck and I only had her out with some enchants (Rancor, Bear Umbra and others buffs I can't remember at the moment). She was about a 12/10 with the exalted ability on her and to be honest. She saved me for quite a few turns by herself.

Non-Exalted deck rating 4/5. Exalted deck rating 5/5.

When he wrote his comment, lifelink did stack. This card was one of the main reasons for the rules change.

An angel with exalted? An Exalted Angel you might even say?

Oh Wizards....
