This is an excellent card. It was an immediate four-of in my Bant deck, and always jumpstarts my lead when I get it out on turn 2 or 3.

this is hard. Sigiled Paladin is a great card especially and he comes out on turn 2. however he's got some tough competition out there. Qasali Pridemage is on hell of a card, him alone can destroy 44 cards in alara reborn alone. SICK. the art of sigiled paladin is awsome.

Solid Bant card. Good flavor, matching mechanics, good abilities, the list goes on.

Wish it were WhiteBlue or WhiteGreen though, seems counter intuitive to be putting down 2 whites in a 3 color deck that early in the game.

True nineyears, but Shards decks usually tend to be more like a white deck with green and blue then a Green, White and Blue deck. Plus Greg Staples did the artwork, and he's an amazing artist...

Although it is Exalted, this is not a card meant to be used in a Bant deck. Rather, it is a perfect 2 drop for a White Weenie deck. You can get it out second turn and swing for 3 by third turn and even if it's out third turn it'll still boost your other early game cards. I once had three out and swung for 8 in the air with a Baneslayer. Good times.

An underrated knight. He's above the curve even on his own. In an exalt deck, he'll truly shine. Not the best attacker though. You'll want Deftblade Elite to annihilate your opponent's creatures and anything with rancor for everything else.

It's an amazing creature, but doesn't see much play because of all the competition in the 2 cc slot. Qasali Pridemage and Deft Duelist are both more useful in the current removal-heavy environment, Jhessian Infiltrator is unblockable, etc etc.

this card is a staple for bant deck's, assuming u got akrasan squire 1st turn and another exalted creature turn 3, he can deal first strike damage as a 5/5 on turn 3...ABSOLUTELY BEAST

Best white two drop in standard, next to Kazandu Blademaster of course.

This was my first favorite card. I got it in my first ever booster (Oh yes, rookie alert) and I've loved it ever since. An excellent card in both casual mono-white and for more fine tuned Bant decks. I run 4 of them in the Bant deck I started to play tournaments with. Never got the deck right because it seemed a waste of money with only 1 month of play left in it, but I do love putting down these guys nonetheless.

I've never been disappointed to draw one no matter what phase the game was in even if there might have been better options in the deck. He's just too likeable xD

@JacksJokeShop:
You could go mono white exalted with Akrasan Squire, this, Aven Squire, Angelic Benediction and Battlegrace Angel if you're up for it....

or you could simply go two-color exalted instead of going all-Bant if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a reliable mana base. I have a blue-white exalted deck myself where I use some of the above mentioned cards along with Ethercaste Knight and Ardent Plea with decent results.

It's obvious this is supposed to take the place of White Knight in your Bant themed-deck.
Is it worth it when you lose protection from black to get Exalted? I think White Knight is so damn good that even a 'crappy/underpowered' version of it is relatively powerful and awesome. Plus, I've changed my mind about wanting a pony. I want a lion now.

Very good 2-drop. Remember that he's a 3/3 when attacking, which is really impressive. Add the first strike and the fact that he can boost your other creatures too, and I'd say he's about as efficient as Watchwolf. Plus, he has probably my favorite Knight art in all of Magic. 5/5.

First Strike and Exalted make this guy possibly the most efficient 2 drop, when attacking. There are 3/3s for 2 around, but he'll beat them. On defense, not so impressive, but he can boost another creature while acting as a defender, so that's something. Knight of Meadowgrain gets you a bigger total life swing in your favor, and attacks better with others. The knights with Protection are better as sideboard cards, while these two can do awesomely as the 2 drop of many White Weenie decks (just play both!).

2/2 first strike for 2 is already good, the Exalted is delicious, delicious icing. Solid, deadly creature.

I think it's easier to accept him when you realize he's a 3/3 First Strike for 2.
