This isn't bad at all; in a deck dedicated to it (hell, even in ltd if you have a decent pool with even a couple more exalted guys), this is right on curve.

As I get more involved with Limited I find myself gravitating more toward these cards that would normally be turned aside in lieu of better choices. However, in Limited a situational 2/2 for 1W(+creature buff) is definitely worth using.

I appreciate the comments on decent cards like these while considering the Limited environment.
Seems like a no brainer reprint. Good show. No Akrasan Squire reprint though.

It blocks as a 1/1, swings as a 2/2 flyer for 2. Can boost other cards or play well on its own. For 2 mana it is perfect in an Exalted deck.

If I'm running white, I draft this. Great workhorse common.

Exalted is a sorely underestimated mechanic. This card will see play in top end tourny decks in both Ravnica and current standard. Most people only see the 1/1 at the bottom of the card and aren't paying attention to it's synergy with cards like sublime archangel and knight of glory. Entirely possible to swing for 16+ damage on turn 5 especially if you throw in angelic destiny and with Ajani, caller of the pride you can pull off 30+ damage on turn 5. Not only that, but it has flying, i'm absolutely flaberghasted as to why this card is rated so low. 4.5/5

This guy is just really cool, especially in limited.

Solid card, costed right, plus flying. Exalted is nice if you know how to use it. All for ? Why not?

I'm planning to play this with Aven Brigadier. This will make it a very nice inicial work horse, and a end game winner. 4/5

Flying, exalted, common, swings as a 2/2 for 2. What's not to like?

Very solid card. Have it buff an unblockable and creature and hold it back as a flying chump blocker with a smite in your hand.

Want an inexpensive Exalt creature to stack the bonus up quickly?
Gotcha covered.
Want an evasive creature to swing in your Exalt deck?

Quite solid in an exalted deck.
