And with the introduction of Fallen Empires, goblins became more than just something to laugh at.

This and Fodder Launch make for an interesting time.

Always wanted 4 Squee's and 4 of these for my deck...

Don't leave your Goblins home without them!
This is a wonderful card, great for finishing off your opponent as well as getting rid of large pesky creatures for Goblins.

This card is absolutely crazy.
Turn 1: one mountain, play rite of flame, drop one mana goblin, then goblin grenade
Turn 2: one mountain, One mana Goblin, then goblin grenade.
Turn 3: mountain Rite of Flame/ seething song, then Hiddesugu's Second Rite for Instant win.

@Laguz
You can always cast it in your post-combat main phase, so it's not really a big deal.

Probably one of the largest mana-to-damage ratio spell ever created.

If you look, you can see the name "MIKE" hidden in the spikes on the Goblin's spear. Must have been a friend of the artist....

This card would be broken if it had "Goblin" as a subtype like Tarfire does...It's excellent as it is, of course.

Great style, great card. Funny and powerful all at the same time. 5/5
Borderline broken, especially with Boggarts. Hell, Fodder Cannon was bad enough!
Thankfully, recursion on this is somewhat slim, given the nature of most Goblin decks. Still, hurts like a mother.

@Arachnos - It's also better than Lava Axe in the sense that the 'nade can take out some pretty big creatures too.

i've only played for a short while; revised my deck about 4 times, but having four of these really helps out

Confirmed for M12! Maybe this will take away some of the sting of seeing LB replaced by the piece of crap that is Shock >:(

Great card. I'm almost glad it isn't an instant.
Just heard that this is going to be in Magic 2012 and i'm not looking forward to that at all.

They shouldn't have re-printed this, how can they justify down grading lightning bolt but including this. This is way more broken than lightning bolt ever was.

Welcome back to Standard, my old friend! Now, just reprint Squee, Goblin Nabob too and we're in business!
Although I'm honestly quite surprised (and a little ambivalent, really) that this is getting a reprint. In a core set no less.

The reintroduction of this card to standard is going to mean the reintroduction of goblin decks to tournament play.

Go out and buy these guys now while they're still cheap. After M12 comes out, they're going to jump in price. Just make sure you get the ones with good illustrations, if at all possible.

Sarpadian Empires Volume IV had a really lazy author.
"It is generally assumed that the Goblin Grenade consisted of a grenade and a goblin."
Yeah, thanks.

Possibly one of the most iconic Goblin cards ever and an excellent representation of "the Goblin spirit". It turns what would have been a crappy creature into massive damage for only one mana. Compare Lava Axe - the same damage for 4(R).
@Dabir: said author's name was Obvious and he held the rank of Captain.

T3: Mountain, Goblin Arsonist, Goblin Grenade, Goblin Grenade.
