Magic cards that are also Yu-gi-o cards unite!

This is a good Yu-gi-oh card but not such a good magic card.

@Ace8792 There are 4 cards that are red and spot removal with no regeneration. All except this one contain black, and one is Grixis. Id rate it as "Decent".

It bugs me that this can't take care of indestructible creatures. Your darksteel colossus shouldn't be able to bounce back from being buried under 1000' of earth.
RIP bury.

Fissure is still a great casual card.

I don't get why sometimes bury turns into destroy and sometimes it turns into sacrifice and sometimes it turns into "destroy and it can't be regenerated". Pick one wizards gawsh

The yugioh card with this name is much better known.

When I saw this was also a magic card I was inspire to make the following deck:

x4 Goblin King
x4 Thunder Dragon

x1 Heat Wave
x1 Pandemonium
x1 Recycle
x1 Tornado

x4 Fissure
x4 Inferno
x4 Shrink

x3 Desert Twister
x2 Detonate
x4 Gamble

x4 Wasteland
x14 Mountain
x9 Forest

The name of every card in the deck is also the name of a yugioh card.

I also made a version that is also a legal yugioh deck but it doesn't really work as a magic deck since it has only 9 lands, spells that cost 5+ and off-color spells.

x3 Ghost Ship
x3 Goblin King
x3 Thunder Dragon
x3 Zombie Master

x3 Heat Wave
x3 Mind Control
x3 Recycle
x3 Royal Decree
x3 Tornado

x3 Fissure
x3 Inferno
x3 Reinforcements
x3 Scapegoat
x3 Shrink

x3 Desert Twister
x3 Gamble
x3 Detonate

x3 Forest
x3 Mountain
x3 Wasteland

"(...) RIP bury." --kiseki

Not sure if that pun was intentional, but it made me smile.

Red removals are great! I'm still using this card and his cousin Cinder Cloud in EDH :)

@casual_melvin

If you wanted to go Traditional Format you could use Change of Heart.
