I run two of these in a mono-white kithkin aggro, and it's pretty ridiculous at times. Considering the kind of deck you (should) run Thoughtweft Trio in, the amount of pump it usually gets makes it somewhere around a +7/+7 with first strike and vigilance that can also block ANY number of creatures. Really, the last ability on this card has saved me from so many token decks.

"You'll attack with 20 1/1 tokens? Ummmm.....ok I'll block all of them with this one guy. Thanks."

This Trio is like a Whirlwinding Barbarian. If you've ever played Diablo II you know what I mean. Great on both offense and defense like a great white card should be. It hacks away like a whirling dervish.

Probably my favorite Kithkin ever in any set. This guy was in the very first deck I bought, and even then I knew how good it was. The art is also awesome.

Quite possibly the most under-rated card in the entire Lorwyn block. When you consider how much this guy can do for you with first strike, vigilance, and block any number (for four mana?! Insane!), I just can't fathom why everyone's running Cloudgoat Ranger in all the standard Kithkin decks. Ridiculously powerful, lifesaving card.

You would think this card could only block three creatures judging by its name, but apparently R&D felt like this was a better way of doing it. Not a bad card, just weird flavor due to it being able to block limitless creatures on any given turn.

Maybe it's the three of them working in such concert that nothing can get by them?

I like this card more then I like my Baneslayer Angel.
Vigilance is what makes me like it more.
The multi-block is just icing.

He can block 9 1/1s and survive. That's pretty sweet.

Looks fun to play with combat tricks like Righteousness.

More than any other card, this one makes me want to build a Kithkin deck, along with Preeminent Captain and Kinsbaile Borderguard. I love the image of these three little guys taking down a whole army of goblins by themselves.

They really thought Champion was a bigger drawback than it is, didn't they?

The requirement to keep him in play is, unfortunately, too specific for any deck but a Kithkin tribal or very Kithkin-heavy deck. However, in the right situation, this guy's a beast, a slicing-and-dicing machine against attackers and blockers alike. (5-powered first strike plus vigilance to use it anytime he wants? Dayum...) Also, if he gets removed or killed in combat, you still get the other Kithkin back, which is sometimes not that bad a deal - better than having no creature at all. I really love this card.

Well damn, this guy is awesome.
That's a lot of creature for 4 mana. The champion clause is inconvenient at worst, there's few Kithkin that aren't worth giving up for this bruiser.

I run this nasty fellow in a mono white kithkin token spawn deck. I find it's always best to champion one of my kithkin harbingers that i fetched him with, so when i chump him to your entire field, Ill be able to go and get another one off of the harbinger ETB. It's absolutely amazing!

Mosquito Guard, Wizened Cenn, Preeminent Captain, 4th turn Trio with Armored Ascension. Annnnnd it's not a legend for some reason. So. Repeat as necessary. Throw in a few Emerge Unscatheds and loose casual friends. No one will come to your birthday party.

@DarthParallax: Uh, no. Hundred-Handed One is a 6/8 creature with reach when monstrous, and also doesn't require a sacrifice. Can this card block an army of 100 1/1 flying spirit tokens? I think not.

combo with basilisk collar for moar hurtiness, charisma in BlueWhitefor ALL THE KREECHURZ, or just indestructibility for a great wall.
