this card is similar to a one-use Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker ability, with two differences. the first one being that you can copy a legend, thus containing a hidden Hero's Demise effect. the second one is the way this token gets removed. since it won't be sacrified like you have to do it in regards of Kiki-Jiki, this one won't trigger "p.i.g."-effects, unless you have another option to get rid of the token.

It's also different from Kiki-Jiki because you can copy creatures you don't control. I'm surprised I don't see this used more often in EDH.

Hmmm...I assume that tokens grant the "enter battlefield" effects since they exact copy of creature? If this true than i would be very happy to use this on my Hellkite or Thunder Dragon. Oh and use this on Kamigawa dragons when you play casual.

I put this into my EDH deck to get rid of generals who are too tough to burn. Yay legend rule.

Copy a Nova Chaser championing a Flamekin Harbinger. Clone champions the Nova Chaser, Harbinger comes into play searching for something else you might need, get a free swing in with the Chaser, reset at end of turn.
"OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" "Well...I concede" "Same" "Yup"
My playgroup's reaction to an EDH game when I did just that. Token player, green mana ramp player, unblockable, and Artifact-creature player. Me? Rakdos, Lord of Riots EDH. Because nobody puts Rakdos in a corner.

Darn it. This used to be such a good way of killing Legendary creatures....
