Still a force to be reckoned with, perhaps moreso with all the different merfolk out there now. Easily my favorite of the oldschool tribal lords. Blue has a lot of ways to turn other people's lands into islands. Do that, and play only Merfolk or use an enchantment like Xenograft or Unnatural Selection and it might as well say "your creatures are unblockable." Draw cards with Scroll Thief or with Coastal Piracy to cantrip every time you hit 'em with anything.

umm to all who want to know decks were 40 cards with no card limit in alpha so 10X Channel 10x Fireball 10x Black Lotus 10X Wheel of Fortune would be my deck list. just saying.
