Strictly better than Concentrate. It's concentrate during your main phase like normal, or you can have the flexibility of looting 2 times at instant speed.

Are you just seriously trying to tell us that this card is strictly better because 4 minus 2 makes 3? ಠ_ಠ It might be preferable to Sift in a monocolored deck, but isn't strictly superior to that one either for having a different mana cost.

This card can be better then Concentrate, in the right deck or under the right circumstances. Madness benifits the most from this card.

I like it because you can get the top 4 cards rather than 3 like most other draw spells, good if you are digging for something.
Agreed that its not strictly better than concentrate. But I'd use this more often since I can target my partner in multiplayer. Also, picking 2 from 4 can be very advantageous over just drawing 3 in most formats like EDH, and it plays well with a deck where you make your graveyard matter.

This is what I always want to see in my U/B/W resurrection deck. Lets me dig deep enough to find atleast one thing that I want to toss, and gives me more cards than I have to discard. Along with that, I can decide how many cards I want to discard depending on when I play it. Ideal I say.

I agree with Biggles that this is great in a deck built around Megrim (or now, Liliana's Caress). It doesn't even need Underworld Dreams to be a finisher. It that type of deck, it is far superior to cards like Fugue because the discard is guaranteed, which it often isn't in the late game, when hands are more likely to be empty. If you run 4x Liliana's Caress in your deck, there's a good chance you'll have two of them out by the time you play this. I've seen it used as a fourth - fifth turn finisher (with a lucky draw) in casual matches.
Oh, and it can be a great draw spell for you, too. It's just a very solid, versatile card. I give it four stars. .

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.
This card is referencing Careful Study and is part of a cycle of Instants who's effects are stronger if cast 'as sorceries.'

Tough choice to use as instant or as a sorcery. In draw-go you never want to be tapped out, so its worth 1 card.
