Unless you have wicked awesome land you can't live without, this isn't all that great in a deck. It's pretty much a wasted slot unless you can drop four, and even then it's only useful if you are against focused land destruction.

Not a bad card at all. Works with Armageddon. And Armageddon works well with indestructible lands. This card deserves nothing less than 3/5 stars.

Grab these while you can!! Very fun with the Worldwake lands. (basicly a slightly worse terra eternal, but still)

Hmm, doesn't Time Spiral block have Dryad Arbor, a land that's automaticly a creature? This card is great on lands that are also creatures, such as the Arbor, any man-lands you run, and any non-aura that animates land (eg-Awakener Druid).

Dude... this card is going to get VERY popular with the Zendikar/Worldwake lands. Raging Ravine and this guy makes an unstoppable creature that just keeps on getting bigger every turn. Yikes. Celestial Colonnade becomes an indestructable Serra Angel.

Obviously somewhat limited in scope, but very solid for preserving your powerful lands against the likes of Strip Mine.

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet :
Back in the day, Serendib Djinn hadn't been nerfed with errata, and did what the card said : it tried to destroy one of your lands.
Hellooooooo, Consecrate Land.
That was Consecrate Land's best (and really, only) combo.
I don't know why or when exactly Wizards decided to change the ruling to "sacrifice". I'm pretty sure I still have the original newsgroup ruling that confirmed the djinn is sated by the destruction attempt, somewhere....

This arcana http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtgcom/arcana/1190 gives interesting insight into the story of this card being reprinted.
