Definitely not better than Unholy Strength, but really versatile. Bloodshed Fever combined with this can turn any creature into a suicide bomber.

Not strictly worse than unholy strength because you have the option to kill a 1 toughness creature. Regardless it's not very good, but the artwork and idea of it is really sick.

Err, what are you talking about? How does this and bloodshed fever combo in any way? I don't think you get the point of bloodshed fever, its to get the opponents creatures to attack you, you got it?
Really good art, the colours are awesome and go good with the frame. It really looks nice. The card itself is not bad... but not good enough to be played.

It's not worse than Unholy Strength...first of all the hybrid {B} / {R} mana cost makes it easier to cast, secondly the +2/-1 can be used to kill a creature with one toughness and it can also be used to enable other cards that require multicolored permanents, such as Jund Hackblade and Naya Hushblade.

Would have been better if it was +3/-1 to give it some more Ooomph, but I guess the fact that it's more splashable than Unholy Strength means it's less useful (except against those pesky x/1's). Very Rakdos though. 2.5/5
