Very powerful and a great way to fuel all sorts of silly games on the battlefield. Worst case, you'll always have mana for counterspells if you have this out in a green-blue deck.

If you see it, kill it. Then take it with Geth, lord of the vault

This was the first rare I ever pulled, and as a result, I love it. I built a deck later involving this and Storage Matrix. Was it fun? Yes.
Was it worth the cuts and bruises from flipped tables?

Yes.

I love this card. It's a rare green creature that isn't just a high-power beater, which has great build-around potential and enables all kinds of strategies and mind games that green doesn't often get. Here are just a few examples of the kind of flexibility it offers you:

- Allows you to tap out for a big beast while still having mana for that game-saving Wrap in Vigor or Giant Growth on defense.
- Makes creatures with pump abilities so much more powerful, as you can use their abilities both on your turn and your opponents'.
- Ability triggers during all of your opponents' turns.
- Strong synergy with creatures with flash.
- If you are using countermagic, you can even protect it, and other creatures that come out afterwards, on the turn after it is cast. There are not many green creatures who actually free up mana for you to protect them with.
- Untaps ALL permanents you control. This means you can alpha strike your opponent with impunity, effectively giving all your creatures pseudo-vigilance. This ability alone completely changes combat math.
- Allows re-use of tap abilities, and also triggers the inspired mechanic immediately on your opponents' turns.
- Enables the free untapping of cards like Phyrexian Colossus.
- Has strong synergy with the convoke mechanic.

Those are just a taste of all the things this single card is capable of. It's a lot of subtlety and possibility for a color that is usually so direct and obvious.
