This seems like it might be fun in some form of Spirits Mana Ramp deck.

I'd rather use it with Elder Pine of Jukai, but Kodama's Reach will work, too.

Strictly better than grizzly bears

why is it rated so high, its ability is quite situational, he is useful only at the beginning and only if u drew it, it's only potential combo is codama's reach and all in all it's more mediocore

Azusa, Lost but Seeking is much better, but this is fine in a heavy spiritcraft deck.

...WHY IS THIS RATED SO LOW? Seriously, why in the hell is this not 4/5 or higher? This thing drops so many lands, I have zero complaints about it.

Could have been combo-riffic if the land had come into play untapped.

This looks like a job for Amulet of Vigor!

Don't compare this to Azusa. Loam Dweller serves a different role. It has more power than Azusa and costs one mana less. It could potentially be good in an aggressive spirit deck. For example in a green-blue deck, play this turn 2, Latch Seeker turn 3, get out another land, then maybe put out something like Fork-Branch Garami on turn 4.
