His ability could almost be considered broken by those who mostly run 0/# Walls. Shame he's only a 1/2, but with that ability a CMC of 3 is a real bargain.

Couldn't you technically use the ability, kill some 0/#s, then use another {1}{R} to change everything else back?

I wish his ability had blue in its cost as well, but mostly because all of the -X/-0 spells are blue and so I can't use them with him in EDH. :(

And it's this card, that I prefer to have walls that have at least a power of 1, lol! Or if anything, it can go into a burn and shut down R/W deck easily. That way with white, I have ways to give my walls static bonuses, plus use this to flip their power and toughness, to situational kill some of the bigger baddies. So long as a wall of stone has at least a +1/+1 to it, they can be flipped to be a 9/1, that can easily defend for the kill.
