Formidable, especially when backed by burn or -x/-x effects. Why? Because you can fool an opponent blocking with a 4/4 into walking into a Disfigure; turning a dead kill card into a live one.
First strike is one of my favorite abilities because of that. You don't need pump spells, you just need good old-fashioned burns or shrinks; which are good in the first place.
Forests are popular right now too, making it a good attacker and defender in the meta-game. 1-of it with Green sun's zenith and you should be good to go!
