There was a time when this card sold for over $100, nowadays it can be had for under $50 and is worth every penny, of couse i don't play tournaments and dont know whats supposed to be used in which type but this card make a goblin deck a "force to be reckoned with" as some would say.

this card is ridiculous, 4 uncolored, for 1+/1+ and then a mana boost, pretty much, as long as your opponent is not using red, then its a ticket to win the game

I love how this was printed as a "continuous artifact."

@wgillespie . . . Dude, I have a hard time believing that, I wish it was true, but even if it was, it's back up to $150 bones again for beta and $100 for unlimited unfortunately.

The oracle ruling on this is freaking hacks!

I can tap 3 Stomping Grounds and still produce red to play a Ball Lightning AND Groundbreaker with the same three dual lands

@MTGfreak:
you can't tap three stomping grounds for six mana. It says "mountains". There is a difference between mountains and lands that produce red mana. Read the card.

@divine_exodus:
Stomping Ground is a mountain. Read the card.

I just thought of what this card would be like if it was printed as a Mono Artifact. Either it would tap to give the ability until end of turn (still good - it's not as if Red will be blocking) or tap to give the ability permanently (First turn: +1/+1 and double mana. Second turn: +2/+2 and triple mana. Third turn: Doesn't matter. Either you've won or you're screwed anyway).

It's always been like that. If you tapped three taigas for green you'd get 3G+3R.

The odd part is they've printed slightly more costly versions that are more flexible, and few, if any, of them see play. Don't get me wrong - this card is GOOD - but it is amazing how sometimes slightly tweaked versions of a card receive almost no interest.

People really need to reread the oracle text.

"Whenever a Mountain is tapped for mana, its controller adds Red to his or her mana pool (in addition to the mana the land produces)."

Adds red.
Red. Not "Double the mana," RED. You get an extra Red from Stomping Grounds or Taiga, not RedGreen.

@DoragonShinzui: You should really read and think about other people's comments. As far as I can see, no one has mentioned "double man", except for you. You tap a Taiga or Stomping Ground for green mana, and then this gives you an additional red mana for a total of one green and one red mana from a single land. So if you have three Taigas or three Stomping Grounds (as tavaritz and MTGFreak suggest), you do get a total of three red and three green mana. Of course you could also take red mana from these dual lands, but in any case, with three Taigas or Stomping Grounds, you end up having six mana, of which at least three is red.
