This seems like it could be used to fuel storm to some extent, though there aren't all that many good white storm cards (saccing tons of lands feel like a hefty cost to fuel a big Wing shards. Maybe it could be used in a red-white or white-black storm deck? However, I guess white really doesn't have enough to make the cut :/

Why isn't this the same card as anoint? It doesn't make sense to me to separate the healing and damage prevention effects into two cards, especially since they're both pretty bad. Guess they were harsher on things to do with infinite mana back in the day.

yeah zuran orb is way better, BUT this card can and has saved games for white weenies and w/u control just the same. 3.5-4/5

I stuck one of these in a deck with Herald of Leshrac. Although, now I see it's a pretty good combo with any card with extort.
