I use these guys heavily in my Bird tribal deck. They are an amazing annoyance, and work well with Soulcatcher's Aerie.

Sure, you'll just get 1/1 flying two-drops. But the card advantage this nets can come pretty handy.
In regards of discarding them like Squee, or exiling them, or to boost your Empyrial enhancements.

But a cip/etb trigger sounds more appealing than a "pig"-trigger, therefore i'd rather have a Squadron Hawk. I'd possibly run both of them in a Bird tribal deck, though.

That old Hawk buddy also has some synergy with Locket of Yesterdays, this might be somewhat useful in conjuction with the aforementioned Soulcatcher cards.

The OG Squadron Hawk. Used to be one of my favourite cards. Still love it, but I can't imagine playing it now that squawk exists.

How did Rob Alexander make this look fantastic, and Squadron Hawk so derpy?

@Drewsel: I echo your words. Undoubtedly, I was extremely disappointed with one of my favorite illustrators. Worst Rob's art ever, sadly.

Well, with Wheel of Sun and Moon and, um, Aluren? and a sacrifice outlet you have an infinite combo.

Okay, not that good. At least the art is great.

The inexcusable thing is that this would've been just fine in Caw-Blade. Just fine. Squadron Hawk's ridiculous power level increase was totally unnecessary.
