i think this is a nice creature. I mean... this is a 2 mana drop 1/1 flying with an ability like most other common creatures. His creature type is Bird, there are some combos for that. I'm gonna try this on my Pestilence deck. I think is a nice blocker, specially for flying black creatures like demons.
Although, if you don't like this you also have Storm Crow :)

Not to good on offense unless you use another card to boost its P/T. But prot black flyer can stay carry some weight against mono black.
