Maybe it served a purpouse back in the day. Now it's just hilarious to see someone's enchantment become a creature in response to your Wrath of God.

TPmanW: Wrath of God has been around since Alpha... so why specify that it's hilarious now when the situation is exactly the same as when this card was released?

He has a place in a very specific class of decks. I used to run four of these in an enchantment based deck with four Argothian Enchantresses (From the same set mind you) in it and it can be a great play. early game its a useful blocker basically every turn, late game it is made at the very least a cantrip by my enchantresses. Really more a testament to the power of Argothian Enchantress, but nonetheless a useful cog.
On the downside, a creature I can't put auras on in an enchantment deck is a bummer. ;>.>

See flying men or it's even sharper update, judge's familiar. Can't imagine this being good unless you have an enchantress out that cantrips your enchantments. 1.5/5.

Replenish is cheaper than Living Death though? IDK... I like birds anyways :)

Beautiful and interesting illustration, and neat effect!

Not that bad really; allows blue to get a 1/1 flyer for one mana, like white. Blue's creatures normally sucks afterall.
In addition I use this with my Celestial Ancient in my flying-deck (together with opal gargoyle, opal archangel, opal guardian, veiled apparition and Pride of the Clouds) for a cheap boon late in the game, or a quick 1/1 flyer in round one.
