I read this card with an imaginary exclamation point, in the voice from the mage in Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds.
Then again, that's true for most cards that appeared in that game. Suntail Hawk is one of the more frequent spells though, so it's a bit more etched in my mind.
The two extra legs always seemed weird to me as well. I think even in that game, it had four legs. Maybe his mother was half-Griffin.
A 1/1 flyer for one just isn't going to cut it in pretty much any format. Unless you give him equipment or something to pump him up, he just isn't going to be able to make much of a difference to the board.

This is entirely playable in casual. It's no Judge's Familiar, but unless you drop one turn one, there's very little difference.
Oh man, if I had seen this card when I was 9 I would have immediately thought it was op. Flying doesnt come cheap in casual, but it's free on this. Kinda sad that it's rated so low.

WHY DOES IT HAVE THREE LEGS? WHY?!
I think Soraya was experimenting with some stuff
in the voice from the mage in Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds.
