An astoundingly good card. My best tournament pack ever was the first Saga one I bought, containing this, Phyrexian Colossus, Sneak Attack and Arc Lightning... just imagine if that had been in Sealed!

An extremely powerful card with many applications. A pair of these, with Mana Vault, produces infinite mana. It's great for untapping hard-to-untap artifacts or getting an attacker back on defense. A true testament to the power of Urza block.

Well, I used this card with grim monolith in an all white wrath o' god/armageddon deck. Damn awesome, since my all blue counterspell deck.

how in the world do you figure 2 of these and a mana vault would give you infinite mana assuming you dont tap a land for mana it would give you 7

Haha... after seeing this, Galvanic Key is garbage by comparison. All that mana just for flash!

Stigi, my first pack of urza's saga was Tolarian Academy, Serra Avatar and Morphling...no joke, i shit my self when I opened it. This artifact (like everything else in this set) was broken.

I'm pretty surprised they're going to reprint this in M11, especially since the next set coming is Scars of Mirrodin.
Especially since they were so overcautious with the alternate version Galvanic Key printed in MIrrodin.
I foresee a huge (ab)use of this artifact :D
Oh well, i guess they'll have a reason to do this, it will likely get mentioned in a future Daily MTG article, explaining why it was broken in Urza Cycle back then, and why it will be alright to put it in M11.

Simple yet powerful-without being blatantly so. And the flavor...just WOW. Definitely one of the finest cards Wizards has ever printed.

Still the best art. Remember when artifacts were "brown" and not "gray"? (not that there's anything wrong with that)

If you can't figure out how to break things with this, you're just not trying.

5/5 for art alone. Henry G. Higginbotham was underused and needs to be brought back.

This guy made the coolest art... shame they didn't hire him more.
