sooooo, it's a forest, a mountain and an island, but it not a swamp or a plains?

Even though you can't put it into play right away, I prefer Expedition Map because you can go get any land and not just a basic one.

That being said, this is still a good card if you need to fetch a land... in any deck.

Many people overlooked the tempo Wayfarer's Bauble provides. With Expedition Map, you grab the land but it goes to your hand, but with Bauble it goes directly into play. Since both trinkets could be activated at the end of your opponent's turn, Wayfarer gives more speed.

One of the best colorless land fixers in the game. Deserves a reprint.

man, you're rated lower than expedition map. I prefer this one better, okay usually in legacy people throw away their basic land for cooler nonbasic land.. but on the other hand, nowaday legacy is like a race.. and this one is a good mana accelerate for ANY color... I can't think of the other coz i'm already using the advance search on this website to find a similar card like this, but this is the best and flexible way to all color.. drop at turn one.. pass your second turn if you need your two manas.. and grap your land at the end of opponent turn. four lands on 3rd turn (with some color fixing on multicolor deck) 4.5/5.

As far as I can tell, there are only two artifacts that can do this. The other is Solemn Simulacrum, which costs $8 compared to $1 for a playset of baubles. The simulacrum is much stronger, but this can be run earlier. An excellent card for casual Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle.
