too expensive for just a creature removal. I wouldn't want to hold on to five mana just so i could stall them for one turn and kill a creature. a smart opponent will sense there is a trap and won't attack, wasting your turn. 2/5 at best

jsttu is right that it's expensive for a combat trick; having 5 mana open is a giant signal that SOMETHING is in your hand. Still, if your opponent doesn't attack because he's waiting out a combat trick, that's preventing combat damage in its own way, anyhow.
Besides, this is kick-ass art.

Dang, that does not look like a very effective combat outfit unless you're aiming to distract the enemy.

This card really lived up to its name in a recent EDH game. I had twenty creatures coming my way, all beefed up by Kamahl, Fist of Krosa's Overrun ability, and this card not only saved my ass, it took out one of his beatsticks and left him completely defenseless.

This card is pretty much a Fog and a kill spell put together. Maybe 5 is a little over costed. If prevented all damage, not just combat damage, maybe it would be a little higher rated. But all in all, I think this card is good. But then again, my main MTG opponent plays Commander against me with an enormous, trampling Kresh and an army of dragons, so...

I never read the card. 4/5 for art alone!

It's essentially a Holy Day and a slightly different Harm's Way combined together. 4 mana might be a bit more reasonable, but I certainly don't think 5 mana makes this unplayable. Most opponents will probably be expecting a plain Holy Day effect, an exile, or a protection effect as a combat trick from white, rather than this card.

Oh no! My board is empty and you're attacking with Phyrexian Negator! Help, whatever shall I do?
