Hmm.
And presumably, if you mirror a planeswalker, you would have protection from planeswalker, though it would be worth the effort to mirror an artifact creature instead.

Why is tribal a card type, but not basic or legendary?

Or snow. I think they'll take Tribal off that list, its a Future Sight ruling from Tarmogoyf and it smells funky.

ok so this card states. that this golem has protection from all of the cards types. dose it break down into the monster type ex ( goblin, myr, insect, ect) or is it all creatures? makeing this unblockable. and nearly unkillable? please clear it up. i got calld on it by a ref at a dci turne. and he couldent find it on listing. just wondering bc it is the base of my artifact deck along with cranial plateing.

Protection from all creatures. It is card type not creature type.

And yea this card saved my skin against many a Darksteel Colossus. Simply stuck Argentum Armor to me golem. No more trampling over meh. : P

I never noticed that yet, since i only regarded it as a 3/4 six-drop with some unreliable protection.
But exiling a creature should be the easiest thing to do, and that's at least pretty strong in draft :P

can you use Liquimetal Coating (or any other card that turns it into an artifact) on a Lucent Liminid, then throw it in the graveyard? if so then it has protection from creatures, artifacts and enchantments.

The first card that could ever have protection from lands.
The only card that could ever have protection from tribal and planeswalker.

no, it looks at the exiled card, not the state of the card before being exiled
