not a main deck card, but great vs token armies!

Great against token decks, I'll give it that.

This should come in a can called Token Be Gone

I disagree that this isn't main-deck material. Even if it only hits one creature, you still have a spot removal that is almost as effective as Disfigure. Amazing card, especially since even non-token decks frequently run multiples of the same creature.

Art Is Spectacular Not Bad In Limited And Man Greg Staples Did Great On The "Echoing"Cycle

In the right situations, this card is really useful. Obviously, it murders most token strategies. But besides that, it can be beneficial in a well-known metagame. If a good portion of your friends' creatures have less than three toughness, Echoing Decay is no less limited in what it can kill than a Terror or Doom Blade. You may even catch an opponent playing two of the same card at once, and get a two-for one. In mulitplayer, it could even be multiple creatures owned by seperate opponents -- that would be a moment to gloat!
