2/5 stars is a solid rating. The card isn't bad. Really its like a slow, but colorless, Jenara, Asura of War. And its humorous (for anyone who knows the Energizer commercials...they keep going and going and going...). But it is awfully slow. Its much better when used with something like Reconnaissance to suddenly untap it and give it more counters.

Good with Primal Cocoon. Still a slow card though, but that helps.

Can you say proliferate?

I mean, sure, the same thing could be said for any card with counters on it, but still..

Chronomaton's retarded half cousin. When I first started playing I thought this card was great.

Not even training grounds makes me want to play this card. That's sad

A relic of the days of crappy creatures. Like someone said, play Chronomaton if you want this affect.

Modular 2 instead of being just a 2/2 or just a purely mana cost for counters and this card would be 3-4/5 as is it is 2/5 because of slow play for a 2/2 with an ability that removes it from play for a turn.

Vigilance makes its tap ability sting a bit less.
