Artifact version of Horned Cobra which was actually worse than Land Leeches which nobody played because nobody played Elvish Archers either. This one also has the dubious honor of being twice as vulnerable for being an artifact. Avoid it like the plague!

I even knew this card was bad when I was running bad cards in my deck like Arrogant Vampire. Every color has a creature better than this card (White Knight, Black Knight, Elvish Archers, Voldalin Knights and Burning Shield Ashkari).

A worthless pile of garbage this card is. You would think (flavor wise) that an artificial snake would be built to be more efficient than this.

The flavor text makes my skin crawl.

At least the art is cool.

I'm not sure why you guys are hating on this card so much.
Red still gets cards like this. The fact that it's an artifact makes it immune to a few black kill effects, and keeps it useful against intimidate/fear.

It's on-par with Viashino Spearhunter anyway, and while there are better things to do with three mana, some of the previously mentioned cards still aren't better, because 1: They cost more than one colored mana, and 2: Because some of them require continued investment to have first strike. This card is fair.

It's not that bad a card to warrant a lower than 2 star rating, but it is more or less strictly worse than Porcelain Legionnaire, which isn't terribly helpful.

The flavour text seems like something Jackass could have tried to show.

When looking for heavy hitting first strikers, this guy just might make the cut. He also helps me achieve Metalcraft in my Jor Kadeen commander deck. Remember, artifacts can be destroyed in three colors, and creatures in a fourth, but because of Intimidate and Metalcraft, they are never strictly worse.
