I don't like this card. An 8/8 for five mana is really nice, but it will cripple your mana generation in early game and there are better choices for green in late game. It can't be cheated in either, seeing as you lose the forests one way or the other.

Crucible of Worlds and landfall stuff can make this somewhat playable.

Need's Trample to be more than a deck specific gimmick card

"Well, you come recommended by Harvest Wurm, and I've heard only good things about your brother,Force of Nature...
What's that? You don't have trample?
Get the hell out of my office. Now."

Can be good but only with additional protection. 8/8 no trample for 2GGG is ok but sacrificing 3 Forests is tough. Very risky. I prefer Force Of Nature.

Too bad Terra Stomper only costs one more and is AWESOME.

I had this played against me a while back, I looked at it, looked at my hand, looked at it, looked at my hand again, grinned evilly and "Excommunicate"

Apparently Primeval Titan's baby brother never learned to play nicely with lands.

Despite his land-destruction ability, he's a really great card. I practically use him in every deck I make. He's really good if you have a deck that's built around getting out the lands quickly, and has a power rating to back it up.

I once played a multiplayer game against a guy who played this. My other opponent Unsummoned it twice in a row, and canceled it the third time. Hilarious.

Planar Birth is a cheap way to get your lands back, any lands you may have lost already, etc..

I'd expect a green elemental to want to protect forests, but this one doesn't help you unless forests die. That's weird.
