you gotta love the flavour texts on onslaught-block goblin-related cards. :D

It's not really as good as its being rated here. Flavor text is wonderful but in a game situation, if this card is helpful, you are going to win anyway. If not, you're probably losing and don't want this card. Nice for some pushes ftw, but I agree with the sentiment that it would be much better if it could target creatures. For this reason, I prefer to use Goblin Grenades in my Goblin builds. Quite simply, its the more reliable and versatile card.

Not really good? This card is a bomb in my opinion. In a good goblin deck you have at least five creatures out on turn three. Then next turn play another two goblins and this to wipe for seven damage for just one mana. Of course with a lot of goblins you'll win anyway but this speeds up rapidly.
@ feliciano No it cannot because it's no tribal sorcery.

I only put one in my goblin deck as a wildcard finisher. Fun when it works but there are times I don't want to draw it. More often than not I have a swarm out and this ends up being overkill. If it were tribal or an instant even I'd rate it higher.

worse than goblin grenade in almost every way, and even goblin grenade isn't popular in tournaments anymore since you can't fetch it with matron or ringleader.
No, Goblins aren't smart enough to use this card.
But if you're a goblin, prove me wrong and run this.

As a 1-of in my Pauper Storm deck it's been a surprise winner every time it has come up.
Step one: Storm out goblins. Step two: Shoot.
With this in hand I can fire off MUCH sooner and need significantly less mana. If they have the ability to wipe my board I was dead anyway. Grapeshot requires one extra mana and does a fine job of being "that other way to win", but this is a terribly handy card.

Izzet Guildmage, Training Grounds. Sure that's two less goblins, but you get like 4 extra copies. Oh, and access to {U} deck manipulating shenanigans.

In any decent goblins deck, this can seriously hurt. Such decks often put out a lot of cheap goblins and goblin tokens. And, with all the hasty goblins, they deal damage very rapidly and this may just be enough to deliver the fatal blow.
Combo with Krenko, Mob Boss and you've got a real finisher here.
Don't forget about Goblin Grenade. Although this can often do a lot more damage. This only targets the player though.
4.5/5 for goblin decks

Just....wow. One mana to end the game....draw two and kill two opponents without even attacking.
KillerNacho...not necessarily. There have been times when Ive had enough creatures to win, but wasnt able to attack safely because of leaving myself open to a second opponent if I tapped to attack the first. This card does all that attack damage without forcing me to let my guard down. Secondly, in a case where I can do just over half damage needed to take a single opponent down, playing this first then attacking wins the game. Without it Id be all tapped out and still not win. Hardly overrated. Ive seen what it can do.

Killer Nacho, you're not quite right about this. Yes, in your sense it is indeed a winmore card, but just as all your little goblins are running out of gas to get the damage through stabilizing defenses, this card comes swooping in for the big damage that let's you finish the game. This card deserves its rating.

Cards like this are the reason why I need to make a goblin deck.
