Decent reprint, though I rather dislike LSV getting my hopes up for something bigger.

There's always room for more good burn cards in my book.

Hmmm...So is Thraxes more like Typhon, or Enkelados (both of whom, according to different myths, are trapped beneath Mt. Aetna)?

This will look great in foil.

Another reference to the unseen dragonmother Thraxes. I'm really disappointed Thraxes never appeared.
Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait for Scars of Return to Theros.

Red Swords to Plowshares limited to 2 toughness and less BUT no life gain for them. 3.5/5 because it can't shock their face if needed, to narrow in my burn deck.

Are you guys kidding me? Instant speed answer to Voice of Resurgence and Chandra's Godforsaken Phoenix at instant speed? For 1 piddling mana? 3.3 Stars? I mean, for 1 mana, you could probably main-deck 4 of them just to get rid of the stupid Mutavaults. Any common that I can main-deck to blow up $30 pieces of cardboard for 1 mana is at least a 4 star card, if not 4.5. Some of you guys obviously don't play Standard. Wow.

It's not quite Pillar of Flame, since it can't target players, but the instant speed is almost - almost - a fair trade-off for it at common.
Even so, I'd have preferred a Pillar reprint over this. Lack of instant speed never really hurt the Pillar that much against the decks it was needed for (i.e. dealing with Voice of Resurgence and Gravecrawler in Innistrad-RTR standard and Chandra's Phoenix once M14 dropped), and the same is pretty much true now.
@Opeth2010 - to me, this is rated so 'low' because we had Pillar of Flame which would have been, most of the time, a better option, and any red player will have had other instant-speed means of dealing with Mutavault. Shock was reprinted in the same set as the Vault, after all :P

Great early game removal, but falls off. Cant call it a burn if it doesnt hit players.
