This is a charm in disguise. A one mana 2/1, a pump spell for an attacker that protects against card disadvantage, and an awkward crippling blight that gets the job done. Also will probably increase the viability of Minotaur decks significantly.

Thank you so much, Wizards, for all of these black two-power one drops these last few years.
Other than Gravecrawler (for its crazy amount of other interactions) this may be the best one-drop creature in black. The flexibility of this card is astounding, and the raw power level is nothing to be ashamed of either.

Drops 1 toughness from Rakdos Cackler for added versatility. One of the sleeper hits of the set.

The one drop minotaur decks have been waiting for. Not a bad card either.

Post-razor boomerang. Also, it seems like the less limbs Black creatures have, the more powerful they get.

And lo and behold Minotaurs got their one-drop. I guess the only way Creative could justify a Minotaur costing 1 mana is if they only gave us half a minotaur. I guess that left arm provides the extra 2 toughness this fellow's missing.

Such a great card after the disappointment that was Felhide Brawler

Great card overall. Starts you out strong early, enables Constellation, and works in late game as well, whether it's giving your creature an additional power boost or disrupting your opponents's tempo. What's not to love? 4/5 from me

Ragemonger should be making it cheaper even with bestow cost, since 702.102. Bestow rules don't say bestow spells lose suptype. Cranial Insertion mentioned that like it cheapens only "Minotaur creature" spells, but it's worded a bit shorter.

This guy, Tormented Hero, Firedrinker Satyr, Rakdos Cackler, Rakdos Shred Freak, Spike Jester, Ash Zealot. Add in a few kill spells and burn spells and Madcap Skills and you have a lightning fast Rakdos aggro deck that tops the curve at 2. Including up to 16 one drops. Also 2 power attacking for free if you have a Ragemonger out.

@EsquireRu:
Weird rules interaction make that untue, unfortunately. When you bestow a spell, it stops being a creature spell before costs are 'locked in' and in doing so it also forfeits its creature subtypes, in this case minotaur. About three steps before determining the spells cost it's decided what alternative costs are being paid.
The end result is that Ragemonger asks if it should reduce the cost after it stopped being a minotaur, and the answer always comes back 'no'.
To respond to your assertion that it won't lose it's subtype: It will. It isn't a part of bestow that removes that subtype; if something isn't a tribal or a creature spell it's 'hardcoded' so to speak, that it cannot have a creature subtype.
