Pretty decent bestow cost with +1/+1 and firebreathing. Seems like a pretty good heroic enabler and mana sync in limited but probably wont see competitive play. 3.5/5

Firebreathing makes creatures relevant in any stage of the game. A cheap bestow cost is refreshing to see.
I've actually played a "firebreathing themed deck", however bad. Dragon Mantle made it viable incasual for the first time in ever. This eidelon only makes it slightly more playable, and for that I'm happy.

I'm not going to lie: This card did a LOT of work in Limited for me.

Extremely awesome Bestow creature. Unlike some, its Bestow cost is quite manageable, and it has a very neat effect in addition to slightly pumping the creature, unlike Nyxborn Rollicker.

As has been mentioned, the 3 mana cost +1/+1 with firebreathing bestow is decent in itself because of the cheapness. Factor in the fact that you can curve into this with Akroan Skyguard, that pretty much rocks. Or if you have a lucky mana-base, you can afford to curve into this after Vanguard of Brimaz or Phalanx Leader.

This will be fun on a bun with Fireshrieker. Double strike and Firebreathing is already a nasty combo, and then if the creature Everflame Eidolon is bestowed upon dies you can just give him the fireshrieker and keep bringing the pain.

Everflame Eidolon is a really awesome name, and this art is gorgeous.
But he only barely competes with Dragon Mantle, which is common, costs R, and could easily draw you into something better than a 1/1 firebreather, undermining the pseudo-card-advantage aspect of the Eidolon's bestow. And Stonewright absolutely takes him to school! I'll still throw fire all over limited with him, but I wish he brought a little more to the table.

I prefer Dragon Mantle. Not bad though.
