Purplerooster - interesting question and I think I have the answer to both you and chainsmoker's complaints. The zombie token has two children on it ( http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/arcana/1413 ) thus I think that single zombie token represents both children together.
And what's a child? If they're little girl's they'd be less I suppose - but probably a 1/1 so together they become a 2/2

The worst of the Inspired token producers. While it has got evasion, which helps when it attacks to activate Inspired, the Zombie tokens are the least impressive of the bunch when taking into account that God-Favored General's tokens come in sets of two, which is significant forseveralreasons. Overall, I think this card could have had a mana cost of only .
Also, apparently "amma" literally means "mother" or "grandmother" in several languages, so this creature's name could be taken as literally "Forlorn Pseudomother".
