Be careful about WHAT you try to replicate with this. If the creature you pick is mostly valuable for its activated abilities, it's not going to tempt anyone not running the required color(s) for the desired abilities.

I'm actually thankful this says "you control". Otherwise, you could always have them copying your legenda-
Oh wait...

Jokes aside, it's a fair spell. If you want some of what I'm getting, you're going to have to let me get first dibs, right? It won't sway the game as much as a Rites of Replication will, though.

I like that it costs the exact same as a clone, but gets you so much potentially more.

Very rarely tempting I'd say. I'd prefer a simple Clone because it's so much easier to reuse and harder to get rid of than an easy token which can be bounced to obilivion with some boomerang-effect or just destroyed with 0 mana with Pernicious Deed, Steel Hellkite and the like.

@AtArms a token copy of a creature has all the characteristics of the original, including converted mana cost, Steel Hellkite and Pernicious Deed can't nail them for 0.

i wonder if you control Terastodon and you have 5 opponents, then you cast this to copy Terastodon? i guess elephants would be happy to see each other in play.. maybe..

I think that this isn't ever going to be a power card, but at the very least it will be amusing. Now if you throw Ink-Treader Nephilim into the mix...

Target Plague Sliver. See if your opponents take the bait to try and kill you off by piling them on you, then...

Okay, I hadn't thought that far yet. Gimme a minute.

You know what will no sell the Tempting Offer? If your target creature is a Biovisionary, that's what.

The interesting thing about this creature is if you don't copy a card like biovisionary; Any opponent who copied it would only be bettering you as much as they were bettering themselves. I think that is the interesting thing. Most of the time I wouldn't make a copy, but if I did it wouldn't really be hurting me, it would be hurting the other opponents not including me and the person who plays it. The same goes for a person who does it after me.

There is one time I think it would be good to copy this creature. That is if you have the upper hand after the opponent gets the token. If you can still manage to overtake them then it might be worth it. Gang up on the other opponents eliminating the potential threat, then beat the person who originally played the spell. Of course there is risk in this, because you may not be right about being able to beat them.

Lol, choose Kokusho and make everyone lose 5 life for each copy you make and gain tons of life

Best used with some hilarious way of turning the opposing copies against them. Insurrection comes to mind.

No-one ever takes my bait. Usually i Copy my Archangel or a True-Name Nemesis. Something people would usually want.
