That looks more like a giant log than a ram.

Counting this as a creature is a little odd - it's an object that is carryed by a groop to do a task. It could have been called 'Ram-Squad' and been a non-artifact creature.

With ROE coming out, it sure would have been nice if this got changed to Defender instead of Wall when it was deprecated.

Kazabet battering rams are not effective against anything other than buildings so being against defender means it could kill like umm people etc( gaurd duty) battering rams were sometimes hastily made from trees

"By the time Mishra was defeated, no mage was foolish enough to rely heavily on walls. Who could have predicted the invention of the giant stick carried by a bunch of people?"

Come on people! Where are the points for FLAVOUR?
This card is dripping with it. A battering ram, that kills walls, AND has banding? (which is awesome btw)
Doesn't get much better than that.

Am I the only one who thinks that Batterskull should have given +1/+1, Banding when attacking, and wall deathtouch?

If this were printed today, it would have been an equipment.

little strange that this loses to most any one soldier that the opponent controls. What, one glory seeker hiding behind the wall is going to kill the entire battering ram squad? If that's the case, why would u bring a battering ram?

@Burningsickle
Clearly you're not familiar with the rules of banding. You attack with the Battering Ram banded to a creature (the creature 'carries the battering ram'). Then you get blocked, and you divide the damage as you choose (see: banding): If the creature carrying the battering ram was strong enough to survive battle with the glory seeker, both the carrier and the ram survive. If the glory seeker happens to be stronger than the creature carrying the battering ram, you have the choice of either letting the carrier die (but keeping the ram safe) or abandoning the ram to save the creature.

The only flavor oddity here is that you can somehow still get your ram back even if the carrier dies in the clash, but otherwise the flavor is solid.

In other words,
*Soldiers are depicted only for illustration and must be purchased separately.

What rolls down stairs
alone or in pairs,
and over your neighbor's dog?
What's great for a snack,
And fits on your back?
It's log, log, log

It's log, it's log,
It's big, it's heavy, it's wood.
It's log, it's log, it's better than bad, it's good!"

Everyone wants a log!
You're gonna love it, log!
Come on and get your log!
Everyone needs a log!
Log! Log! Log!
