You can never have enough mana elves. So glad to see this card in the modern frame.

Well hello Llanowar Elves... Hey! You are not Llanowar Elves!

gurgle...I like the old art better, rofl. XP
but....it is Fyndhorn Elves! I did not know this card existed, and now I like this card! :) That. THAT right there <- <- <- Is what the Vault should be about! Showcasing CLASSIC cards to people who DON'T know about them yet.
I do think I like this card. I am not positive if The Vault is the best place for it...I kind of think Duel Decks would be just fine. :P But, I guess the Vault EVENTUALLY needed a Mana Elf? Might as well sooner than later. :P
I'm already psyched for next year's Vault. :) And I hope we get a Modern Frame of old Fyndhorn art soon?
Explanation: I clicked the other links for this card in Gatherer. That is how I discovered the Ice Age art and determined I liked it better. :) Feels more Old School/D&D. Or more Urza's Era? Fyndhorn Elves should have got reprinted in Invasion block, but I bet there's an explanation for why that doesn't make sense in the novels of Jeff Grubb. Which I have to seriously back-trackdown and catch up on. :P

@NARFNra: How do you get that Fyndhorn was the original? Llanowar Elves have been around since Alpha.

Wizards, seriously, thank you for reprinting this card and redoing the art. Vastly improved.

I'll bet the main target audience for a reprint of this card is Commander players. I really like this art. Can you imagine how good a new snow set would look with the modern art standards!?

I love this new art, very happy to have it. The only thing the Ice Age version has going for it over this is that it has the old frame. Gah, now I want this art in the old frame!
Honestly, my favorite part about the FTV20 version is the new flavor text.

What's wrong with you people? This is the worst "mythic" printed thus far. 0.5/5 would vote lower.
Before I came here this was rated higher then Tarmogoyf.

I think it would be my favorite thing ever if Wizards printed this AND Llanowar Elves in FTV:20.

Because we need 12 Llanowars in the world.
This should've been Bolt, regardless of the new art.

Seriously Wizards? Seriously?? This was NOT something we needed a reprint of, especially when there are probably a dozen OTHER mana dorks that are way better than this. 1996 pro-tour deck or not, this is a major reason that myself and many people I know will NOT be buying FtV: 20

They need a FTV: Beasts already.
