Let's say you have a few cards in your hand, 6 mana open, and they have a Lavinia of the Tenth out. If you attack, you're now creating all kinds of ideas in your opponents head: "Is he going to boost it?" "If I let it go, will I take 2 or 5?" "What if he bloodrushes?" "I guess Lavinia isn't doing anything for me..."
