At last, a way to reanimate noncreatures and cheat them into play from the Graveyard! And it's even in Unburial Rites' colors.

This is the card of my dreams.
The only thing that would make it better is "from any graveyard," but that's really just icing- this will still revive my Omniscience just fine.
For serious flavor win, use this to reopen a Debtors' Knell.

Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker is almost certainly the strongest thing in standard you can grab with this. Fun times.
HIlariously though Five mana and two colors on a sorcery is actually a pretty FAIR price to pay for reanimation, when reanimation plans to get as good a mana break as possible.
Powerful in how unique it is, but I think the biggest hurdle in standard is getting over how the majority of mill-searchers like mulch and grizzly salvage are not hitting sorceries.

Obzedat's Aid is a cool card for standard. Permanent is the key word here. For most decks lands probably not, artifacts most likely not, enchantments not really, creatures yes, and planeswalkers finally. Mana cost 5 is fair but 4 would have be excellent! Good overall but not for every deck. Certain decks can take advantage of it for sure. 3.5/5.

Dear Rise from the Grave Haters: We know you don't ACTUALLY think 5 mana is too much. You are just sick greedy bastards. Well we are too. Here you go, we know you know this is what Liliana has actually been meaning to cast for a while now. ;D

Every permanent type has a better reanimate spell than Obzedat's Aid, except planeswalkers. That alone makes this card frightening, consider planeswalkers don't have summoning sickness issue and their abilities cost naught to activate.
Teysa, to Obzedat: "Okay, you said something about blue magic..."

IF I use this to cast Obzedat, Ghost Council from the graveyard, does that mean they're helping themselves?

I'm gonna put some lands in my graveyard so I can use this as acceleration in B/W.

Or if Teysa gets reanimated by this, is she talking to herself?

The anti-Vindicate. It's a funny coincidence that they're in the same colors.

Target permanent card? For five mana? I need about two hundred of these. For reasons.

Actually reanimating Teysa is very interesting. you can use this or the rites as you like.

The card's name makes the art look like a magical sports drink emerging from a magical ice box.

I think we should start calling this Kool-Aid.

One of the more hilarious ways to win in standard:
Loot faithlessly or salvage in a grisly fashion Omniscience into graveyard. Request the aid of several dead bankers in resurrecting the key to universal power and godhood. Enter the infinite and play the resulting one-of Borborygmos Enraged. Fling most of your hand into your opponent's face.

This might be my second favorite card in the set.

Just wait till Travis Woo gets his hands on this. Omni-Aid, anyone?
EDIT: And it happened, he created Rite Aid. This and Unburial Rites.

Man, I bet this card looks inSANE in foil. Would be even neater if it could play from anyone's graveyard, but all the same, really cool card for Orzhov.

Interesting how the art seems to hark back to Beacon of Unrest、which did something similar but not as wide–reaching。

Teysa: "The Obzedat have revived you with purpose. Don't squander their blessing."
NB: "Puny woman, do you think you can stop the mighty Nicol Bolas? I do as I please!"
Teysa, to Obzedat: "Shall we evict him? He's got attitude problems..."
Obzedat: "YESSSSSS.... WITHOUT MERCYYYYYYYY..."
*does a Merciless Eviction*
NB: "Huh... what? No! Wait! Stop! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
