Is it just me, or is Simic able to do a bit of everything in this set?

Explore isn't too amazing... Divination is even worse. But put together they seem pretty good.

I like the art and the effect a lot, but cannot deny that it's a 5cc sorcery.

If epic experiment ever takes off, it will probably appreciate this card.

Card draw and some acceleration? Take my money.

Combining card advantage with mana accelleration sounds efficient.

Be sure to use it in the right deck that can make use of that additional mana
(that you get from the land which you hopefully find among those three cards),
and you got yourself a Concentrate and a Rampant Growth for 2GreenBlue.

Well, it's certainly even better when one of the cards you draw is a land...

Pretty fair deal, if a touch expensive. Still, the ability to refill your hand and get the extra lands from your hand is pretty handy, and in combination with Unexpected Results, I'm getting the feeling that Simic is going to start getting unprecedented amounts of mana out and about to better fuel their bigger spells.

Great card! Draw 3 and play an extra land for a reasonable price. Instant would have been nice, but probably also broken.

Explore + Divination seems good. I hope this card pairs up with Unexpected Results in a bizarre ramp/control deck.

It's a fair cost for what it does, but even with ramp you'll likely be spending turn 4 or 5 just drawing cards and putting down an extra land. That just might not be viable given the speed of many aggro decks you'll be facing.

One of the few standard cards that allow you to play two Gates in one turn... Will it be important when running the Dragon's Maze?

So awesome. This card sets up an amazing following turn. It's not really good for faster formats, but it's really awesome when you can use it. The feeling is great when you reload your hand with stuff to play while simultaneously ramp to play the new stuff.

I'm using it in my peasant cloudpost modern deck. Playing extra lands is better than stuff like rampant growth because it allows me to play more nonbasic lands. This card will allow my deck to be fully stocked on protection spells for my eldrazi, and keep the land flow going for ridiculous excess mana, and tons of life gain from glimmerposts.

It's not the most amazing card ever - when you start getting to 5 mana you start getting into serious bomb territory, especially when you have 2 colors to choose from - but it's nifty, and it's a heck of a lot of fun to play. Gives you a bit of gas in your hand and a little extra juice on the battlefield, and for some decks that's just nice. If you have the sort of deck that can keep making use of extra mana (in the deck I've included this in I run E-Wit + Cackling Counterpart, so unless I'm interrupted every 3 mana makes a 2/1), the land drop isn't going to be irrelevant, and we all like drawing 3 cards.

And of course, EDH loves both these effects.

Decent card. Resonably priced. I dont think there is anyway it could be an instant as, to my knowledge, there is currently no way to play a land as an instant. I wish it were cheaper, but understand it would have to be rare or mythic at a cheeper cost. Perhaps if there was more Green or Blue in the CMC? I want so badly to run this in EDH, and have, but I always seem to cut it for other things. 3/5 stars for me.
