Why does this guy's ability only work at sorcery speed? That seems kinda random.

"Non-Zombie creature" sounds far more preferable than "non-black creature".
Not the best card, but i like that unique restriction alternation.
It was likely made sorcery-speed to prevent people from abusing this effect during combat or when one of their zombies would have died anyways. On the other hand the prior one (dealing combat damage and saccing the accordant Zombie) won't work anymore since M10 rulings anyways...

ah, well I prefer stronghold assassin, not everything I use is a zombie, and he can sac himself, and he doesn't take mana, and he can use his ability at instant speed, and I know almost no one besides me who plays black (except this one guy but he always beats me anyway)

lord of the undead. very usable

should also be a zombie and cheaper then it's playable

I'd give this one a 4/5, given the current zombie situation. This guy after an Army of the Damned, pretty good. 4/5 because he needs to tap.

You guys, combo him with a Gravebane Zombie, and you've got yourself a creature destruction every turn, though it costs seven.

Gravecrawler is an easy choice for sacrifice, and you can really clean up if you have something like Grave Betrayal out.

This was one of my first magic cards! Was pretty strong in the environment I played in lol.
