@Mathx2: Sweet Gygax, you're right! That's brilliant. Probably explains why the zombie doesn't seems nearly as frightened as the fleeing woman.
Anyway, not as combo-tastic as Squee, Goblin Nabob, but it's recurrsion must be fuel for some low-end casual Johnny tactic. Anybody have any thoughts? It's considerably awkward since it's a from-play trigger, but I have the lingering suspicion that there must be something.
Other than combos, other zombies are generally better than this guy, as he has the nasty habit of locking down your draw, given the chance. Other zombies just interact favourably with your graveyard (except for the surprisingly large proportion that don't- Rotting Giant, I'm looking at you) without forcing you to play around the possibly repeated loss of your draw.

After some unpleasant experiences with Undying Beast always ending up on top of my deck, I'd be very wary of using this.

Jacko and his red vest have had about enough of you uppity zombies. He's laying down the law.

The originally-printed wording was ambiguous, but since 6th Edition, this guy literally can't die.
